Buffalo Chicken Sliders

These buffalo chicken sliders are cheesy, spicy, and baked to golden perfection on soft Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for parties, game day, or a budget-friendly family dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works great
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce Frank’s RedHot is the classic
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese optional
  • 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls 12 rolls per pack
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions extra buffalo sauce, or ranch drizzle

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, and ranch dressing until fully coated.
  • Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the rolls in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the chicken. Add crumbled blue cheese if using.
  • Place the top half of the rolls on top of the cheese and chicken.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 5 to 7 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let the sliders cool for 5 minutes before slicing into individual portions.
  • Garnish with green onions, extra buffalo sauce, or a drizzle of ranch if desired.
