A fast and budget-friendly comfort dish that layers crunchy corn chips, hearty chili, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for feeding a hungry family with just a few simple ingredients.

- 1 9.25 oz bag Fritos corn chips
- 2 15 oz cans chili (with or without beans)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional
- 1/2 cup sour cream optional topping
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Pour half of the Fritos into a 9x13-inch baking dish and spread them evenly across the bottom.
Open the chili cans and pour both cans of chili over the Fritos.
Use a spoon to spread the chili into an even layer over the chips.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the chili layer.
Add the remaining Fritos on top of the cheese.
Pour the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top layer of Fritos.
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
Carefully remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Top with chopped green onions and sour cream if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy.
